MY EXPERIENCE OF A BIKE RIDE TO SAPUTARA
Coming to my corner of the story, it was a random discussion
started, and my friend was saying the necessity to be far away in nature, and that
too on the bike. We scrolled through some lists of hill stations from Google that can be reached on a bike, and a name appeared on top with Saputara, amidst hill stations at the Maharashtra-Gujarat border.
It was one of the places from the Gujarat region
that was on the bucket list. We decided to pay a visit to Saputara hill station. It
was a 245 km drive for us, and we knew it was going to be one of the memorable
experiences for us. From Mumbai, the road goes through Kasara Ghat, which
itself is attractive. In monsoon, no one should ever miss the chance to drive to Kasara with small waterfalls on one side and the valley on the other side of the road. It
took us almost 4 hours to reach Saputara. A few km before you reach Saputara, there is a checkpoint as you are entering in different state, and it lies on the border of Maharashtra and Gujarat. When we had our first glimpse of Saputara
place it was completely neat and the cleanest hill station I had ever seen.

It was a short one-day trip since we had less time to explore, so we decided to cover a few main points. After involving ourselves in the beauty of the Lake, it was time to visit another remarkable place, TablePointt. It is a small plateau
where one can drive, and it is just opposite to ropeway station on Sunset Point Road. Those who love horse riding, for it is a superb place to enjoy. At the table point, there are small huts that sell hot food for visitors at a reasonable
rate. Saputara exists with an angle of waterfalls, which you can witness in the middle of the monsoon. As it was the start of the monsoon season, we could not view the waterfalls.
