About Goa

Goa is everyone's dream destination. It’s a place that definitely deserves a spot on your bucket list. Known for its stunning beaches, there isn't a single beach that isn't worth visiting. Goa has become an essential tourist destination, nestled between the sea and hills in the region known as Konkan. It is one of the most beautiful places to visit in India, attracting both domestic and international tourists in large numbers each year.

Goa is divided into two regions: North Goa and South Goa. North Goa is renowned for its vibrant nightlife, while South Goa offers peaceful and tranquil beaches. As one of the most popular destinations in India, Goa is easily accessible by air, road, and rail.

How To Reach Goa

By Air

The nearest international airport is Dabolim, located near Vasco de Gama. It is 29 km away from Panaji. The airport accommodates all domestic airlines operating to Goa. Upon arrival, passengers can take prepaid taxis, which can be found 30 meters from the main exit of the terminal building.

By Train

The rail system is an excellent way to reach Goa, with Indian Railways providing convenient connections from various states. The main destination stations in Goa are Madgaon in the south and Thivim in the north. The train journey is well-loved, as it takes you through scenic landscapes filled with greenery and numerous tunnels. Upon arriving at Madgaon, you can easily book a self-driving vehicle, making it convenient to explore the beautiful surroundings of Goa.

By Bus

Several bus routes come from various states of India, but most traffic is from Maharashtra's Mumbai and Pune. In seasons like Christmas, New Year, and Carnival, it becomes so much rush in Goa where one has to book tickets in advance.

By Sea Route

There is another interesting transport available to Goa, and that is by Sea. Tourists can also take advantage of the ferry service to Goa. Some shipping companies provide boat service from Mumbai to Panaji.
Recently cruise has started for Goa from Mumbai dock, and the cost goes around 3000 INR to 8000 INR per person.

By Road

Goa is well connected by road from major cities and states of India.

Coastal Ride To Goa

The coastal ride to Goa is an adventure for thrill-seeking travelers, and I consider myself one of them. Riding my bike to Goa was a dream come true and an unforgettable experience. Traveling almost 600 km on my own bike created a unique story to share with everyone. The route, which passes through various ghats and lush greenery, offers a captivating journey..

Goa is particularly famous for its Indo-Latin festival, especially the Carnival, which attracts visitors from around the world.
